A real life Deacon Locke?

Catherine Maine had already bought a dress when her grandson was told he could not take her to prom.

Just like in DEACON LOCKE WENT TO PROM, this high school senior invited his grandmother to prom. But unlike in the book, school officials are refusing to allow her to attend, as she’s over twenty.

I find this ridiculous, and I urge you to e-mail principal Steve Hawkins and ask to him to reverse this decision: shawkins@ecs.k12.al.us
