I’m going to be there…click here for more information.

Words… Everybody uses ‘em.

Wordfest 2013 is made possible through funding from the Missouri Literary Festival and the Missouri Humanities Council.  The 2013 Wordfest is the Missouri Humanities Council “Highlighting the Humanities” event.

Celebrate words in their many forms at Wordfest, September 27-28, 2013 in beautiful Downtown Springfield. We’ll have activities for all ages (including a Quentin Tarantino-themed spelling bee and a number of author talks), plus “An Edwardian Evening” with Carol Wallace, author of “To Marry An English Lord,” which helped inspire the popular PBS series, “Downton Abbey.”

Featured wordsmiths include Michael ‘Supe’ Granda from the Ozark Mountain Daredevils, “Stand Straight, Ella Kate” and “Deliver Us From Normal” author Kate Klise, “Almost Perfect” author Brian Katcher, Christian fiction author Lori Copeland, Missouri poet laureate William Trowbridge, singer/songwriter Inge Chiles and poet and songwriter Jody Bilyeu.
